A beautiful city that I've not yet visited.

Although that statue (of Poseidon?) isn't the most flattering IMO

Question: what lens did you use for these?

This is a great series of pictures! I looked around at your different galleries and have to say there are some very impressive photography to look at. I particularly like the nighttime available light shots because that is at the top of my list of shots I enjoy shooting the most and I can appreciate the quality of your work, Jeff

These pictures remind me of a very busy day I had on vacation a few years ago that I visited several countries all in the same day. I really enjoyed it seeing the different cultures, people and restaurants. I am planning on doing this again the week before Christmas but this time I am allowing two days at Epcot instead of just one. Jeff

Re: Rome by night : the eternal city

They're nice but - to my eyes at least most of the images don't look upright. They look like the left edge is lower than the right. A rotation of 1-2 degrees makes them look OK to me:

    - St Pietro place looks OK as it is
    - imperial forum might be OK
    - all the others seem wrong

I have this problem all the time when I'm shooting in cities with wide-angles. I have to give a small adjustment to most of my images to make them look right. When I'm not sure I use a gridline
