    Recognition

    It's nice to get some every now and then. This isn't really a big deal but it was nice to see my photo on the cover of the local paper today.

    This is the photo. It was a full moon Nordic ski on the recently opened local trails (ones we mountain bike on in summer). It was cold. Probably -2 F or so when I took the pic. A good test of camera gear and outerwear!

    "Gunnison Nordic hosted a full moon ski this past Friday at Hartman Rocks Recreation Area. A pair of skiers is seen here gliding under the moonlight. 16 brave souls participated in the event, and the club provided hot chocolate to warm those who endured the cold."
