I created an account on Facebook which I'll dedicate to street photos, it will most likely be a weekend thing, not daily

I will eventually share it here, once I start to get some decent shots

I'm going to do sort of a 365 project, except in my case I'm doing a Project:52. Where I shoot one roll or pack of film a week, and of those post at least 7 shots per roll/pack.

    Details Here: http://www.alexluyckx.com/blog/2010/...-roll-project/

The Project 52 sounds more doable. Or maybe Project 12.

Winter months are for snow, cold, and indoor subjects. Maybe minimalist stuff too. I'll worry about the other months later.

    Adina,

I would love to do this in some form or another. However, I don't have a facebook account and I honestly don't have time to start anything new. Something like your 365 idea would encourage me to do more photography and I would love it if I didn't have to go somewhere else and begin something new. Actually my goal is to do an image a day for 2011, but I probably would only post the images once a week with my schedule.

I think your idea is wonderful and hope you get a lot of responses here.

    Re: project 365...anyone else?

I had been thinking about this before the end of the year, then conveniently forgot about it. Now I have to play catchup, just just go the route of Project 52, which seems like a better chance for success...

Now typically, I know it was always click at least a photo a day, but for me, I think I'll maybe go with "finish" a photo a day, allowing me to revisit some old shots I've left for processing if I can't get out to shoot any new ones...

Time to start budgeting my time a bit differently....

I would really like to do something like this, but I'm not sure I have the discipline to actually follow through with it.

I will give it a try and see how it goes.

Seriously though.. Since I'm starting a few days late, should I make up the first 4 days or just start with today and move forward from here? Any thoughts?

I would love to do a project like a 365 of a 52 but I just don't think I have the temperament for it. I shot in spurts and am not at all consistent.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I am like that as well OT, but I'm gonna give it a try. We will see just how long I last.

A blog I frequent - http://lighting-essentials.com/ is running a "52" project that I'm going to try to do this year, geared toward commercial photography.

Ugg, this is so tough. I am trying to post daily, but the last couple weeks it is more like I am posting a few days at a time so I can get caught up.

Anyway, if y'all want to follow my Project 365 just give it a click.

    Re: project 365...anyone else?

    My best advice is view it like a journal, instead of a photo project. I usually tried to pick an idea or a theme for the day but mostly it was what I had available and felt like it was worth being shared. I have a camera in my hand almost all day so it's not too hard to get 1 pic. that works out of the lot. Don't worry about making it perfect for all eternity either, just make it be the pic. you like best that you took that day. Maybe that will take the pressure off. Good luck, and don't give up. (C;

PS: It's your photo project so you make the rules, you can allow yourself make up days if it's costing you sanity. Just my POV.

    Re: project 365...anyone else?

I'm too undisciplined and ornery for a 365 or a 52, but I did a project last year and really liked both the results and the process. I'll post a separate thread.
