Problem with viewfinder of Minolta Dimage z1

just bought one minolta dimage z1 and I need some help.

The problem is that I think the viewfinder doesn't show well the image, on the LCD it appears well but on viewfinder we see the pixels (for me there's some problem with it),if I use the diopter adjustment the image starts to be "blur" and I don't see it well too

I would like to know the opinion about it of someone who knows this camera, to know if it's normal or if it's one problem with my machine.

Thanks on advance, I hope someone can say me why this happen

I think it's normal. having used my Wife's Z1 for a couple of days.
The viewfinder is very low resolution.
Nowehere near good enough for my purposes, but my Wife loves her camera.
Simple, easy to use, light, good zoom.
The new model Z2 looks even better.

I agree, the LCD is better than the viewfinder, I think just because the viewfinder magnifies the image. On the Minolta website there is a diagram of how the LCD tilts and swivels to be seen through the viewfinder.

The best electronic viewfinder I've seen is the Minolta A2.
The "pixels" view you get is the best it gets on the Z1.

    Diamge z1 viewfinder

    Hello Hugo

the "problem" is that the image you get in the viewfinder, is the same image on the LCD, with the difference that now (in viewfinder) is magnified by reflexion, it is like a mirror moving inside the camera reflecting the iamge from its sorce to the viewfinder, so that way you get lots of pixels.

    hope it helps
    Gustavo
