I don't know if this topic has been discussed before but considering that there are several pro photographers who contribute to the messages boards I tought that it would worth to ask.

Moreover, I would be interested to know about the (professionnal) life path of some pro photographers. Was that a child dream or did you considered that option way later? Was there a particular event in your life that proven to be a turning point that lead you to be a pro photog? What have you studied? Which school/college? How is your work on an every day basis? What do you like/dislike about it?

Now I realize that I am asking a whole lot (of potentially highly personnal) informations for a single topic and I don't mean to bother or intimidate anyone but I'd be glad to hear your stories.
