Can you indentify nests??? My granddaughter and I were cruising through this canyon with steep straight up sides and looking at swallow nests on the rock overhangs. We both spotted this and we know there is no water up there...Reno is really dry right now. Kind of gross if you think about it, but interesting at the same time. Around the bend of this canyon is a small lake and a dam.....and fish. I have my hunch of what it might be, but wanted another opinion. Our guess is an eagle, but what kind, I don't know. We don't know what else would build on a cliff like that. She just started with the bird watching group at her school and is really into watching birds....and getting into photography. This was zoomed in with a 70-200mm lens. If you want to look at the full size picture, I'll send it to you. You can definately tell what rocks they like to sit on. Next time I'm taking a telescope.
