I have a couple more from yesterday that I can't ID. I almost forgot about this bird,it gave me a tough time never staying still before I got a few pictures. I'm guessing some sort of warbler but I don't see any in my book that fits right. I'm going to get a Warbler book before the year is out.

Re: Post Your Bird Images Here!!!!!!!
While I was taking pictures of the Bald Eagle yesterday there were a group of these birds higher up that I'd say were migrating. Not a very good picture but I know you're big into the Hawk Watch so I hope it's not an impossible ID.

Re: Post Your Bird Images Here!!!!!!!
I do believe this is a first winter pine warbler. That is a very hard image for me to ID though.
The other image is a turkey vulture that may or may not have been migrating.

Another shot from last sunday. I was taking some shots of a Blue-headed Warbler when this bird landed close. Most shots I've posted here were cropped, this one is full frame. I think I might have posted one of these already but I didn't feel like looking back at all the pages.

One more from last sunday, I hope to get out again this weekend if the weather permits.

Male downy woodpecker and an eastern phoebe
Mike this weekend(starting tomorrow mid day) will be GREAT for birds. Hawks fly by day/ roost by night and neotropicals fly by night and feed by day ;)
As I am sure you know... in the AM warblers look for the area where the sun hits first around a good place to take cover(wooded area usually). The sun gets the insects moving and the warblers devour them after that 8-10 hour flight :)
Re: Another One For You....

I figured one had to be there from the scene!
Re: Sorry About That Buddy
now I see it ;) I thought that was a blown out branch and to the left looked to be a kingfisher possibly?
