Photography Theme Ideas Help!

Hello everyone!

I am in college and studying abroad next semester. I am going on an unique program called Semester at Sea which you take classes aboard a ship and travel to different countries around the world including: Puerto Rico, Brazil, South Africa, Maritius, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China and Japan. With that said, I am signed up for a digital photography class onboard (hopefully i get into the class) So for the class we need to compile a project along the way that will eventually tie all the countries together. I need some 3 different themes. Examples have been about food, housing, and landscapes. I was just wondering if you guys have some great theme ideas for this trip ( I will have great photography subjects) just say em...the more the better. Thank you in advance, Andrea
