    Pensacola Flordia haunted light house

Took my grandkids to Pensacola Flordia Naval Air Museum and spotted this lighthouse across the street. This light house has been featured on Ghost Hunters on TV and I have attatched a link to information about it. I took this picture while we were there, Jeff

Did you dare to enter? You should go back and shoot it at night.

Re: Pensacola Flordia haunted light house

We didn't go in because it was getting late in the afternoon and we needed to get back home. The Pensacola Lighthouse stands as an eerie monolith rising 171-feet over the Gulf Coast. In 1856, Congress allocated $55,000 to build the Pensacola, Fla., Lighthouse, and it was completed in 1858, making it the oldest lighthouse on the Gulf Coast. The building in front of the lighthouse faces the Gulf. Going back in the evening to take some picture sounds like a good idea but trying to go up all the stairs to get to the top is more than I think I can handle so that is not an option. The museum is free but the lighthouse costs $5.00 for adult and $3.00 for children. They do have tours at night and tell ghost stories that may be interesting, Jeff

Its a tall one. Wonder if they can see oil slicks approaching.
I don't believe in ghosts but it would be interesting.

    Hey Grandpaw,

Nice shot of the light house. I am back from Brazil, what a bummer the oil here is a mess.

Another bummer is I did not get to bring any pictures back from Brazil. More on that later.
