Anybody wanna join my new club?

It's the Velvia Bandits! We're a non-denomenational photography club, meaning users of all camera gear are welcome! Velvia is the Great Unifier of All Cameras, as almost anyone who has shot with film has used and loved Velvia at one time or another. Even users of digital who are trying to make their shots look like Velvia!
So users of film who love Velvia, users of digial who used to love Velvia, you are all welcome! Come Samurai, come Clans, come Warriors, come Panhandlers and Gods! I welcome ye all!

    Ain't he cute?

I've shot a grand total of 2 rolls of Velvia 50 is that good enuf? I was hooked after seeing the first slide! The rest is in the freezer patiently waiting along side of some Provia, for vacation. Only 21 more days and I'm outa here!

    Got you beat!

    ;-)

The wife and I leave for Myrtle Beach on the 16th!

    :-D

I'm taking Reala, Superia Xtra 400, and some Provia 100 and Provia 400 with me to Myrtle Beach.

I'll be taking Velvia (and Provia and Sensia) with me when I go to the mountains in May with my old college buddies!

    Rob,

seriously, provia 100F rated 320 and PUSHED 2 stops is nicer looking on the grain that 400F rated 320 or normal.

BUT, 400F PUSHED to 800 or 1600 is sweet for the FILM speed

    Gotcha!

I've only shot one roll of Provia 400, and I liked it. I've only shot a couple of rolls of Provia 100, and I've never had any of my film push processed, though it has crossed my mind. ;-)

I mostly shoot Sensia 100, which is great film for "consumer" grade slide film. I haven't seen much difference between it and Provia 100. Maybe after I've got more rolls of Provia under my belt for comparison...

I'll bear in mind pushing Provia 100 next time I'm doing night and/or astrophotogrpahy with slides.

Sorry babes! In my world "pervert" is not as bad a word as it is in other peoples worlds, I forget that. No harm intended. I was merely tossing a reference to your stunning sexuality that's all

I love velvia. I currently shoot almost exclusively digital and the only reason that I even keep my film body is because I want to still be able to shoot velvia this summer.
