Saw a bit on the news after I came in from working in the flower garden this afternoon.
I shouldn't get too smug or we'll have an earthquake.
I love to drive in snow IF I don't have to.
I had a fun day in the snow with the dogs. We only got 4 inches but it was enough to make a mess in our county as well as making a mess of the sports schedules. Saturday morning I had to go to Martinsville In to shoot a game at 10am. I left at 7am and spent an hour in the ditch on I70 after hitting an ice patch just as a gust of wind hit the Jeep causing it to spin.... reminded e of the old days racing modifieds, it just broke loose and I went for a ride I still got to the school with a half hour to spare!
Friday night I was supposed to shoot ythe girls fymnastics regionals in Columbus In but they moved it to Saturday night, then moved it to Monday night... so now Monday I'll make the drive down to Columbus.
All in all it was a nice snow,,,,,, wish we'ed have had a foot or two though .....

Im in eastern Kentucky doing field work, and we got about 5-6 inches. I tried going out to work in the morning (still only 2-3 maybe) but the stream was to high, almost got the jeep stuck in a stream crossing, water over hood etc, so i called it a day shot some pictures while i was out, came back and made a fire in the fireplace! i have pictures uploaded in the Nature and wildlife forum under "winterscapes".
That last one makes me think "Serta commercial", Jeff
