Nat, looks good! But if you're going to use this site to drum up business, you either need to fill out your categories more, or keep it to one pic per category. It looks "weak" to click on "children" or "family" or "edibles" and only see one shot, especially since it's the same shot.

What's the commercial value of "edibles", anyway? Just curious.

    Just my opinion though.

this is just meant as a site to allow people to see samples of my style and skills. Waiting for the next wedding to get the "real" site done...

Since I'm not taking on this venture to seriously right now...this works well enough.

business thank goodness is coming along by word of mouth. being a full time mom is not conducive(sp?) to being a full time photog yet...maybe in a few years.
    ;)

the lamo single images are off of one CD of pictures only I still have about 15 - 500-800 mb CDs to go thru....I just needed something up and running by Friday for three people that asked to see samples. For the "common" folk (she said sarcastically and jokingly) it'll look fine.

    Thnaks for looking

Nat, I thought it looked good! I hope you didn't think I was saying otherwise. It just needs to be filled out.

I'm really curious what the market is for edibles though! I've never seen that category, so I'd never even think to take pictures of food.

    Edibles is my own thing

I' have this quirky thing for food patterns and textures and I feel they are overlooked...one of my favorite things is that advertising or art where people use food to make scenes and portraits...don't know who it was but it's so cool. Food here is so readily available but so often overlooked...I added a few more ...go look again

Nat & Kelly - have you seen Edward Weston's vegetable prints? I think you would love them. Check out the book "Edward Weston Forms of Passion."

    Nat the site looks good!

Nat, I think I remember a "Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing" commercial where they built a whole scene out of vegetables. That was neat.

I know the ©lick photography sounds hokey but it makes me think of the click of a mouse and the click of a camera and since I'm pretty much digital...it was kinda fitting...except someone already asked if it's lick photography--- i told them no---I'm not the kinda girl to do those sort of shots

Thanks Brian, I know you'll do well on your friends wedding. ;)

I have some printed maybe that can be the ones I bring to Chicago with me... I just printed a bunch out because I owe quite a few people pics...

The food ones color wise are my favs...I love the green glass and pear---I think if I could have a kitchen with chartreuse glass back splashes(leaning towards lime) with stainless steel appliances and white cabinets and doors with frosted glass and vases full of pink gerber daisies I'd be the happiest girl in the world and a wall to display the food art of course...ahhhh...to dream... ;)

I'm really pushing for a red front door. We have a wooden storm door that has seen better days. I don't think it could be restored to the original wood and look good, but I think if you fill in the cracks/nail holes it will be okay.

Too Funny Nat! That's the thing with domain names, one wrong letter or using .com when you wanted to use .net, and it will take you to a site you probably don't want to see..
    Keep at it!
I will see what I can do about posting some of the wedding photos! It isn't until the end of next month.
