    New York City

I'd probably at least need a month to be satisfied in capturing this city. These were all captured in a day, in the city by 9am out by 6pm, long hard day. Got lost three times, ran into the Occupy Wall Street movement, saw a filming of a Law & Order Episode, my Rolleiflex got lots of attention as did the FM2.

Alex - wonderful variety of photos. There is no place like NYC to find a lot of photo ops - and you captured some really nice shots. It looks like you had a lot of fun.......I can relate as I love going into the city with my camera - there are always plenty of those "only in NY" opportunities.

Were you there just for one day?

Oh I had a lot of fun, I was actually in the city for three days. One day (most of the images pictured) for just photography, then another day to visit the USS Intrepid and more photography, and then another day for the PDN Show and visiting one last camera store (Lens & Repro)

I should have some more shots later once I've edited and posted, and scanned in some cases.

Thumbs up Re: New York City

Axle, Great shots! NYC is one of my favorite places. We are planning on a day trip early December. I hope to get some great pics like you have posted here. Very interesting and colorful. I do like the B&W shot though. It's my favorite. Surely NYC has the most interesting variety of people to capture. Thanks for sharing.

Always love your B&W stuff but you really stepped up to the plate with the color shots of the city. Love the first subway image. Great set of pics!
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

One last one? Sure, this was the photo I wanted to get of the Statue of Liberty.
