    Talking Mybeautiful bride...

(of 8 years) ...she was bored to tears - I went to shoot pictures at a fundraiser for a client. It was in a small pub and dimly lit. I shot these as we were getting ready to leave.

#2 did it for me ... very relaxed, casual, playful smile ... all the ingrediants needed for a nice portrait. Very pretty wife, AC.

Great images, beautiful bride. Hodgy is really rubbing off on you.

I wish I had PS and not just Elements, so I could give those actions a try. Maybe Hodgy can write a set of instructions for us Elements users that will accomplish the same thing and sell it as a PDF.

Thanks for looking and commenting, folks. I appreciate it.

I was shocked at how nice the color turned out from the 420ex bouncing off the cieling. These are a little "hodgified" but not much - just a little softer than they were originally.

I too like the second one, maybe it has something to do with the way her hair mimics the color of the shadows on the left side...very warm lighting, it looks good! Maybe I would of liked the first if she had cracked a small smile, It almost gives me the feel that I am intruding...

    Good job!

both of them beautiful...now when do you and Speed have a workshop for photographically challenged husbands?
