My product recommendation of the day...

If you have any old, scratched up CDs, this is for you! I bought the motorized disc doctor, skeptical that it would work. The guy at the store said I could bring it back if it didn't. Well, I just repaired a CD i've had for 8 years, Enigma, and man, it was scratched up to the point where it sounded like hiccuping monks. It plays like brand new! No more hiccupping monks! Works on DVDs too, but a few that my brother brought me that had honey on them, didn't work quite as well (hint - honey doesn't belong on CDs kids!). So there, my product recommendation of the day!

I also had a cd that I stored old photos on and couldn't be read by the computer because there was a scratch from when I moved - it works!

You head down to Best Buy and pick up a replacement kit for $10. And you stop letting people borrow your CDs.

Heck, it makes them last longer at least! The worst thing that can happen is a scratch making your cd, dvd, or computer program or game stop working! OUCH! With the price of them lately? My brother's kids are AWFUL with their playstation game cds. I told my brother he should make them save up their money to replace the ones they broke so they learn a little lesson in the value of things. But, nope, they spoil them. Argh.
