My last photos for a while.

These are the last photos I will be posting for a while. I am moving to Phoenix next Tuesday! These are the cream of my last crop of night time shooting.

My favorite: Stars over a pond for 15 minutes, full moon, Velvia 50

Spring trees, lit up by the same full moon, 17 minutes:

Standard night shot, no moon, light on trees is from street lamp, lessened the red in photoshop:

Hope you all enjoy! I'll have some desert scenery next time!

Great photography as usual Rick. Hope you are feeling a lot better. We'll be looking forward to those desert scenes.

Good luck with the move, and be well.

    Hey there!

    Rick,

These are great images. Thanks for thinking about giving us some reminders of you while you're "out of the picture" (pun intended) for a while.

I'm glad you're looking forward to your move. I hope you will come back to NY for one of our gatherings one of these days - you owe us one.

We'll miss you. Check into Starbucks or one of those places where you can plug into the computer.......and sign in. ;)

I'll say a prayer you have a safe and fun trip.

Beautiful images Rick! This makes me want to take my camera outside right now and point it towards the stars. Good luck with the move, and drive safe.

    Dear Rick,

I like the first one very much. Too bad Colorado Springs isn't all that great for star trails...

Hope all goes well in the move and settling into a new environment.

    Rickster!

I love the pond shot! Awesome shot my friend!!!

The last is great too. I like how you planted Polaris down in the left hand corner to anchor the shot, with the rest of the Little Dipper as streaks. Very nice.

Don't take too long getting set up - because we're going to miss you while you're gone.

Enjoy Arizona buddy! Lots of great stuff to shoot there.

Wonderful images as usual Rick. Your star trail photos were the first time I really noticed your work a couple of years ago here on PR. They are always special. Good luck with the move. Looking forward to you next post.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

That first one is beautiful, Rick! I love it. I hope you're putting these in the gallery, too.

I'm kind of excited that you're moving to Phoenix. I might actually visit there

So when is the first Arizona Gathering going to be?

Hey Rick! I like the colors in your second picture. It is quite unusual.

I bet that Arizona is a great playground for photography. Have a blast!!!

    Wow, you guys are great.

Thanks for all for the well-wishes and support. I am feeling better and "psyched" about the move (as you know I am studying psychology out there) Only a few days left! After I get internet set up out there I'll post pictures of cacti and star trails for y'all ;)

I love you all, be good and play safe.

    Best regards,
    Rick
