I can probably fill up a decent sized hard drive with all the Seattle skyline shots I've made over the years. Here's one I've never posted anywhere before. It's a 3 shot pano stitched in Photoshop CS2. It was taken from Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill. Enjoy!
In the coming days/weeks/months, I'm sure I'll post many other skyine shots of Seattle...just bear with me please.
I find that the best time to take "night" shots is acually about 20-30 minutes before sunrise or after sunset. There is still enough ambient light to give nice shadow detail on the buildings, the sky will be a nice shade of blue (or if you're lucky it'll be red or orange or yellow with clouds), and the building lights will have come on to give that "night" time feel. Next time you want to do night photography, try it just before sunrise or just after sunset. You may like what you get.
