    Mother's day lunch

Larry booked reservations to the most amazing place...it was so beautiful and had such amazing food I thought I'd share the experience with you in a pictoral....i had been taking so many pics that I refrained during the main course but all in all it was wonderful. Great service, great food, reasonable portions---lunch prices are definitely more reasonable than the dinner prices we hit ---so maybe it might make a great Photo gathering lunch sight...

the first is my dessert- a coconut cake soaked in coconut cream with toasted coconut and topped with a home-made toffee/caramel ice cream with caramel

the second is the table upon our arrival at www.myplacebythesea.com

    the third is the view

    the fourth is the appetizer
    • from the top- a seared scallop on a beet puree with baby spinach
    • a lobster wonton on a hoison ginger sauce
    • a cube of haddock pan fried with house cocktail sauce

The placement of photos is messed up for some reason it did it's own sorting while loading

What an amazing day and an amazing meal ENJOY! Bon Appetit!

    Oh he done very good

Next year will be pretty boring though--- how do you beat a Nikon and a schmancy restaurant.... give me time I'll think about it...

As far as self portraits are concerned... soon as I can figure out how to do the self timer I'll go for it...although I guess I COULD read the manual---but what fun would that be???

I already posted my self pic for the month a week ago... Maybe in June

Hey! we could start a Natalie and Rick monthly "love myself cause I'm so vain" project---think PJ would give us our own Forum that we could moderate ourselves on .
we could critique ourselves, for ourselves about ourselves...woah.... THAT would be sweet!

    Beautious, romantic...

Looks like Larry done good It looks like a gorgeous meal. I think with a setting and ambience like that, who cares how it tastes?

I got my momma a card, a rose and a small vase. She was happy too

It looks like you're having fun with that new camera, Natalie. So when do the self-portraits begin to flow?
(I'll match ya one for one!)
