More Shots By My Daughter

She insisted that I post these shots of Timon, her hamster. She particuarly likes the one where Timon bit me! Sadistic child. But she caught the moment for all posterity to see.

The first shot is of Timon on a pillow. She didn't like that you couldn't see him well, so I held him in front of a green pillow for the second shot. She liked that one a lot better. (She's learning about backgrounds) The third one is Timon the I.T. hamster. Lastly, it's Timon the maneater. BTW, that HURT!

I really enjpoyed the first set of shots as well...just hadn't said anything the first one in the series was very nice... saturate the colors and it looked like a watercolor... post more I'd love to see them. when I know more---i would love to teach a kids class on photography...kids are amazing

If that was a female's body, then I wouldn't have posted it. This is a family oriented site, after all. I just don't think anyone's going to get excited over seeing my bare chest. ;-)

My daughter should see this post before lunch. I'm sure she'll be encouraged by the kind words. She is a talented girl, and she loves photography. I'll be sure to post more of her shots in the future. Maybe I'll just sign her up on PR - and she can post her own shots!

Hmmm. I thought it was rated G. Let's see, we could make up a rating. How about PG 3? Three year olds and up? We could just add advisory letters like movies and games. (A for Adult language, N for Nudity, V for Violence) So I guess this one should read BMC - Bare Man's Chest. Hmmm, there ya go Nat, this one is hereby rated BMC! ;-)

Seriously, it looks like your daughter is catching the photo bug and is doing pretty good work. I'm about to buy my oldest daughter the Rebel Ti this week and I can't wait to see the pictures that she'll be taking from our upcoming vacation in Yosemite (again!).

That is so cool Ray! I think it's great when members of a family share in an interest, hobby, or as my wife calls my photography, an obsession. Be sure to let us see some of her photo's from the vacation.

It's good to see that your daughter loves to do something that you can do with her. Maybe she'll stray to the light side and become a Canon user! hehe.

It looks like she's getting the hang of using backgrounds. You should get her some strobes to help light the background and subject better. You can even tell Dawn it was my suggestion. Just trying to help her get better
