The lifts close in 2 days!

So we went skiing again. We might go again tomorrow. I'm probably going to ride park, so i might not take too many pictures, but if i get any good shots, i'll post them.

Still trying to change it up a little every time ago, what do you think of these?

I'm not a skier but those look pretty good to me.
How did you get those 16 guys to jump all at one time?

Back when I started skiing it was just an accomplishment to get down the hill in one piece looking good like Stein. Now the things people do on skis and boards is just amazing. Good shots, the weather looks great and it looks like there is plenty of snow.

    frog,
I did get 16 brothers from salt lake to come and jump a perfect 360 all at once...... no but that would be sweet. This is the beauty of 8.5 fps...... i think 10 would even be too fast!

    EOS,
it is amazing. i can do SOME of this stuff, but the good guys are pretty outstanding. People think they're crazy and dare devils. but they're really not. the biggest injury this guy's had in a few years is a big ol bruse on his but from scrubbin out on a rail. these guys can do some "amazing" things with a high levle of safty. they're not crazy, just skilled.

I think that first one is the best. It's got style and it's simple. It really packs a punch. The sequence is technically good, but it doesn't do much for me. I think sequences are overdone. It has to be really good to work. This one ends up distracting me with too many frames. I usually use every other frame when I do sequences with my 1D. I agree that 8.5 FPS is too many. You can adjust it via the computer, with the Personal Functions. I've never done it, but always meant to. I've actually been thinking about the 10 FPS frame rate on the 1D Mark III and thinking that the slow speed might be perfect with that camera

    Axle- thanks, i like em.

photo-john- I agree that it might be too much on the series shot, but the skier loved it, when he saw it he thought it was perfect and he bought it. so whatever the skier wants, the skier gets.
