    Liberace is back...

Fun way to spend a Thursday night.

Wayland Pickard performs as Liberace in the Rainbow Room of the Hotel Baker in St. Charles. Tickets were available free of charge from the Fox River Chapter of the Red Cross.

To continue Liberace's tradition of showcasing new talent, Pickard is joined by 11-year-old Carly Hoban of St. Charles. Carly is an accomplished singer and mandolin player.

Steve Bridges, known as "Mr. President" on the Jay Leno Show, performs as John Kerry for the first time in public at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles.

    Talking Wow......I love these photos!

These are really neat! I would love to have been there

I especially like the girl - Carly - great capture. What lens did you use? The lighting is perfect as well as the color.

    Seb...

You are an extremely talented photographer. It must not have been easy to take photos in that atmosphere, but these look as if you went right up front and helped yourself. As usual, beautiful work.

Sure did the job - because the photographer knew what he was doing. ;)

    Thanks Penny!

THe thing is, if he ws anything like his impersonator makes him out to be (my understanding is the guy is really, really close) then the guy WAS cool. Sharp wit and great presentation.

THanks for sharing your shots, very nice tombstone. Surprisingly classy and understated, I would have expected a gold bust of the man with two sparkling diamonds for eyes...

    Take care.

    looked several times

And finally had a chance(my scatteredbrain has allowed me to remember) to say...these are really fun shots...if the real guy wasn't dead these could be the genuine flashy gold lame-d original...nice work...as usual.
