OK ALMO.... Seems your $5 never made it to NJAS , so I will let you ID this to clear the debt ;)

1D/100-400IS/ 1.4TC/ on LEXAR from a running truck.... cropped to about 40% of frame... A bit soft from the running vehicle/ tc/ handheld combo though.

ID this, as it is a very EASY ID .... FROM NJ

To be honest I use a book about 40% of the time. After all I am no paul. Here is my with out a book guess:

White-throated sparrow, Zonotrichia albicollis

John... google, book... whatever until you find a SPARROW with that head shape, yellow lores, EYE RING...... This sparrow is a typical north eastern ADULT MALE on territory(they double clutch )
