    I kinda got published

Hey all. Just thought some of you might be interested in seeing this stuff. I did some photos for an article at newschoolers.com. It's a freeskiing site. Anyway, I covered the Queen's Cup last weekend in Park City. There were a couple photos in there I wasn't too keen on, but they really liked and wanted with the article. And I have to yet to hear anything about payment from the site. But still, it's kinda cool. Go check it out and let me know what you think.

Congrats! They all look like fine images to me! Seems to well document and give a good feel for the event.

"There were lots of chicks who hucked their meat"

I must be getting old. How and why do 'chicks huck their meat' - wait a minute - I don't want to know.

Great photos. Nice of them to wear such bright colors for you!

    Congratulations Mike! Great shots!
Some of the comments make my blood boil though. What's wrong with letting everyone know who's awesome photography skills went into taking the pictures?!

Congrats Mike! Good stuff, and don't mind some of the ignorant and yet amusing comments from the "I know everything in this world" teens. As they mature they learn to appreciate more as they understand . . .we all went through it.
great shots and good action captured. Very Flourescent snow colors. . . .
Keep up the good work and much success to you.

    Re: I kinda got published

Haha, thanks for the compliments. The hucking comment refers to getting a lot of air out of the half pipe. I can see how you would draw other conclusions from that statement, haha.

And dumb teenagers are just a reality of life I think. I certainly can't take them all too seriously. I laughed the first time I read that comment. Plus, they finally got around to deciding to pay me. And it's more than I thought I would get them agree to. So all in all, I'm pretty happy with this.
