For sale - don't ask the price

I have no idea what the price for these three is, but all were up for sale.
There are several race series open to these old single seaters.
As you can see they have new sponsorship, very different from their original racing days.
But if I won the lottery ...

Do they come with cup holders?

I find myself wondering more often how it is that things described as 'old' look so modern to me.

I'll take the Benetton. So much more prettier than the Ferrari (and better built no less).

Put headlights, taillights, turn signals and DOT tyres and use it for a daily driver.

    Interesting, so say the least.

Very sexy, though if I won the lottery, I wouldn't spend it on a race car.

Hmm, yes, definitely one of those "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" situations. And the buy-in price is just the beginning. I mean how many runs are you going to get on an F1 motor before you have to completely rebuild it? A handful if you're lucky? And it's not like you just call up your local parts supplier... I presume you would either have to buy single items from Renault/Ferrari/etc or have them made. Yikes.

But wow would it be a heck of a lot of fun. It'd almost be worth having just for an invite to Goodwood!

Re: For sale - don't ask the price

They run at way under their previous race tune.
Typically you buy a car with parts, wings, struts, gears, springs, the whole race package.

Worst thing is an accident, where there is lots of carbon fibre work to be replaced.
    That gets really expensive.

You have to remember many of these cars racing in Forumla BOSS are old single seaters and so do not have the driver protection of the Benettons for sale here.
You can tell old racing drivers by their limp. The older cars had the driver position farther forward, and with less crash box protection for the legs and feet. So accidents tended to be more severe for the driver.

One of those would look nice sitting in the living room of course it would need an anti dog/cat device.
Then again, setting one up to work with a driving game would be cool  The repairs wouldn't cost as much either

    Been done.
They had one at Jordan with angle sensors under the front wheels and the pedals in the car wired up.

Also at Autosport Pirelli had a rally simulator where they just used a rally car.
With actuators to generate small but realistic bumps and body roll.

The full-axis simulator with 3 screens was the best though it won't fit in your living room.
