Hulk, Mario, Pokemon, R2D2, Transformers!!!

I wanted to show off one of my new passions. I love taking product shots especially of action figures. Here are 5 of my favorite so far. I have a big box of figures laying around waiting to be shot, I just need to get another computer, a job, then I can focus back on it.

I use a small desktop setup with a variety of consistent lighting devices.I normally work in film production so I know a thing or two about lighting. I need to start photographing my setups when I shoot as well.

The best part for me doing macro and product shots is how many different ways you can achieve the look you are going for. You are not limited to big lights you can put a light anywhere. I hope you enjoy looking at these and leave a comment and let me know what you think. I would love to shoot for a toy magazine or toy products one day.

Actually his eye is activated on this toy you can press a button on his mid section and he beeps on and off so I had to get the timing right for it :-)
