hmmm, so THATS where he was while Micheal and Marco were at Indy today
I saw Mario earlier this week at Indy....can't remember what day though..... they are all running together at this point.

He said he thinks Michael has a good chance, but Marco doesn't have the delicate feel for the setup at ovals and nor does his engineer.
There's another press conference tomorrow afternoon, we we'll ask how the kids are doing
As you can see, the Silverstone Stalker got her man
I had to lend her the LZ-5 for the weekend, and this is a snap of her in the drivers club.
No don't ask how she got in there ... even I don't know how she did that.
However I did spot one of my prints of Sir Sterling Moss at Goodwood last year on the reception desk, so I think it is another charity signature donation in the pipeline.
It could be late 70s version that he drove in 78? If my memory serves me right it should be around a PC 8 or 9 if it's the vintage I am thinking. I know Mario won the fall Trenton, New Jersey race in 78 driving for Penske. Usac was just beginning to do some road coarse stuff back then.

It was not a car he drove, but one that his son raced against?
Trying to remember the press interview ... must get good recording next time.
Too much background noise from the EuroBOSS series starting up outside the press centre.
Way off the vintage I thought it was:-( it looks to me mid to late 90s.
Fittipaldi's 1990 car.
Chassis 9 of 9.
Chevrolet engine.
Bought from the team by an engineer who was over there on secondment from Ilmor.
Also in his garage a 97 Penske Mercedes (Ilmor) engined, not Chevrolet, and a JPS Lotus.
All immaculately restored and rebuilt to racing condition, inside and out.

I didn't have a chance to respond but I thought it was one of the Fitipaldi cars, I was a year off though thinking it was the 89. I was at Nazareth when Fitipaldi won and was working security in Penske's compound and Emerson shook my hand as he came in after the race. That was fun to work for Roger back then....and the food they brought me wasn't bad either
