How to make a Photo into a Calendar?

I've never done any photo editing. Does anyone know of an easy way to convert a digital photo to a calendar, similar to this:

    TIA.

Though I'm sure there's program that does this type of thing for you, you could do this in MS paint if you really wanted to! All you have to do is open up a image editing program and place your formatted text onto the picture. There are programs probably, it would just be a quick google search.

you don't usually use a photo editing program to actually create the calendar page. Usually you take the photo, then import it ("place" it) into a text layout program, where you add the actual text.

If you want shadows it's trickier and the program needs to be more complex (meaning, more expensive). But I know there are calendar creator programs out there; probably several at your local Office Max or Best Buy. Or google it.

But as stated above, you could also do the same in a program you've already got, such as MS Word. Create a page the size you want for the calendar, then place your picture, then add text on top.

How do you plan to have it printed? At home, or at the printer? If you take it to a printer you'll want to talk to them first about how they want the document constructed and in what program.

Another thing you can do is go to a place like www.printroom.com and have them print it. They have calendar services. Their prints are really high quality.

Mpix does a good job with several different layouts
