    Re: Hot Dogs

Was this a special dog cooling event on a high temperature day?

Good idea! My dog has been getting quite hot and thirsty,(she's mostly black), whenever she get moderate activity and that's on a 75f day which is a bit cooler than you back east folks
That first shot is a corker.
    Keep Shooting!

Dogs love colder weather, so this cold ice must be great for them.

The dog park with which I'm associated has a summer fund-raiser and it was this past Saturday. The ice came from a corporate sponsor who donated a ton of ice for the dogs to pay in.

Seventy-five degrees sounds sooo nice. It been in the 90's here since early June with that terrible Ohio humidity.

I often wonder about the thought process of those who own cold weather canines (like huskies in particular) in hot weather regions.

But then again, I have many friends who own "warm weather dogs" (Italian greyhounds, chinese crested, and chihuahuas) and have custom sweaters that the dogs start wearing in October.

    Re: Hot Dogs

I really liked number two in the first post because that dog just seemed to be able to really appreciate what he had.
Then when you posted a wider version with the other dog looking as if he's really anxious for the dog in the ice to get done, my face got a little sore from smiling so wide.

    Parting Shot

Isn't it always the case that just when everything is going great and everyone is having fun when someone shows up and poops on our parade?

A couple logs of crap in a ton of ice. I still wouldn't take my dog in that.

    Thanks for following the story.
