hmm, hands free phone or shutter release?

Did you know that if you have one of the hands free head sets for a digital phone that has the button on it to answer, it can double as a shutter release for your rebel? Haven't tried it on other cameras yet, but damn, that was nifty to try! lol

I tried with a couple different hands free sets and I couldn't get it to work for me on my rebel. So, I said heck with it and just went and bought a Canon shutter release. Hmm...makes me wonder what you did right?

LOL I just used the one I had for my sprint phone! I have like 3 or 4 of these things - it's a law in NJ that you must use hands free so my sprint phone is totally voice activated and my headset has an easy button to start the voice activation. The one I used on ms rebel, was the Body Glove brand. It was totally uncomfortable on my head but really works well as a shutter release! lol
