    Smile Hi,Websailor here

    Hi,

I just signed up and am interested to see what I can do with the photos I've taken. I've browsed around a bit and this looks like a great site!

It took me a while to figure out that this is the introductions area...at least I hope so!!! I was looking for a forum called "Introductions" like I've seen on other boards....ut:

I like the outdoors and I like taking nature photographs... I'm not any great photographer, I'm lucky in one in ten of my shots is worthwhile. Still I enjoy it and have fun!

I used to use a Pentax Spotmatic, a great 35mm camera till it finally got worn out and beaten up/dropped/abused too much. My current victim, eeeerrrrrr, camera is an Olympus C-750. I like the 10x zoom on it.

Too bad it lets me take more pictures than before!!!! Now I always go thru my shots when I get back and make sure I delete at least half of them.

Enough for now, I want to post a picture (if I can figure out where to) and see what everyone thinks...

    Welcome Websailor!

To post a picture just click "post reply" or "go advanced" down below. Then, if you scroll down you will see where it says "upload photos". From there you can select them from your computer. Just be sure to keep within the size restrictions. The attachment key chart, shown at the bottom of the pop up window when you click "upload photos" will tell you the size requirements.

Look forward to seeing some of your work.

Nice to have you aboard. I think you'll find that PR has something for about every photographer. We are pretty diverse in our photography and try to show respect for everyone's images. Post away and have fun.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks Walterick for the People thread - I think it would have taken me a long time to find that!

Now that I've posted one (whoohoo!!!) picture, I'm starting to get a feel for how this board works - I really like what I see. And I can definately use help!!!!!

I've also found this place a bit addictive...so many lovely photos, all sorts of creativity, so many new ideas! There goes another hour (or two or three) of sleep.
