My first post on this forum will be to introduce myself.
My name is Michel and I'm from The Netherlands when I was six I first met with the camera of my dad.
Only at that moment I used it as a toy not as an intstrument like I do nowadays.
I was born and raised in Assen where I spent 26 six years of my life before I moved over to Heerenveen to live together with my girlfriend.
On my 18th I bought myself my first SLR and after 2 years of use it was stolen during a burglary.
I spend 2 years without a camera and on my 23rd I got my first Nikon camera ( F65 ) which I used during another 2 years before I quitted photography due to some personal issues.
Then I moved to Heerenveen and after a year and a hard year of work I spent some money on my first digital camera ( D80 ) in the main time I had some good contact with professional photographers.
But after a year with my D80 I needed something quicker and more compatible on high iso values.
So I got myself a D300 and an old 300mm F2.8 and 80-200mm F2.8 after almost 2 years it was time to move to a level of the big boys.
Since a week I'm a proud owner of 2 D300 bodies a nikkor 17-55mm af-s f2.8, nikkor 70-200mm af-s vr f2.8 and a 400mm af-s f2.8 lens.
