Now I've only had the D70 for 2 weeks so I'm still feeling my way here.
Busy day. Took the Leica down to the Chocolat Fair in Paris then on the way back I stopped at the hospital to see the world's press waiting for news of Yasser Arafat (journalists hate having their photo taken). Get home and hey this evening it's Halloween in the village. I could try out the D70 with the SB800.
I shot off a load of direct flash shots then packed up to walk home. In the street I came across a crowd of little imps still trying to get sweets off the shopkeepers so I set the camera up for available light and did this one by the light of a shop window. 1600ISO, kit lens at 1/20 sec. this is the JPG just as it came out of the camera (resized of course). Remarkable.
