    Got my first Cover!

    I was hooking up some shooting for the next weeks bicycle race activities and the publisher asked if I'd seen the current issue. I hadn't and he informed me that I had the cover. Yippee! It's not a big magazine and the pay will be rather small. But I'm pretty excited. I wasn't my best shot from the day -- but I guess it caught their eyes.

    I've been a contributing photog since the first of the year and have had a dozen shots printed -- but this is the coolest.

    Nice job! You say the pay will be small. Getting paid at all for mountain bike photos is an achievement. And it is always nice to see your work in print. Even if you aren't getting rich. Let's face it, we don't take mountain bike photos for the money. It's an obsession

    Thanks all. I'm still pretty excited.

    Tomorrow starts our week of Interbike related racing. Yeah!!! I'll be shooting the Cactus Cup, Vegas Cross and USA Crits Finals. I'll be in bike racing heaven.
