I thought someone would have surely posted a Valentine's Day photo by now, but I didn't see any. So, thought I would be the first.

Oh, and these were from an arrangement of tulips I got for my wife. Roses are so cliche, lol. Sidelit by a couple of 250w tungsten bulbs and bounce flash.

lol...to be honest, Kellybean, my wife didn't even miss them. She's not really the "romantic" type, and anytime I give her flowers she says matter-of-factly, "Oh, okay, that's nice." And that's about it! LOL You might think that's a negative, but I see it as a positive: she gets about as thrilled with jewelry as she does with flowers!

Gee, I thought people here would get in the spirit of the holiday and post some pictures. I guess love must NOT be in the air this Valentine's Day. But perhaps someone will prove me wrong yet.

Sorry to disappoint, Ray, but on V-Day love was not in the air in MY world. I spent the day studying music, sculpting clay, singing and then socializing with my choral group. When I got home at around 10:30pm the DH and I sat in the living room watching TV. Then he went off to work in his office while I played on the computer for awhile, after which I went to bed. I think he stayed up working most of the night.

For my V-Day picture, see my Photographed Art thread. The closest we came to celebrating was the NBA Basketball game we went to on Saturday ... for pix see my Barbie Cheerleaders, All in the Face, and Anyone Watching the Game threads.

Kelly, that was about as romantic as our night. My wife's sister came over with her 4 children and we watched dvds. Woohoo! The titles were: Shark Tale (fun!), The Grudge (where's the point?), and Day After Tomorrow (global warming garbage, but good storyline).
