    Formula 1

No not that Formula 1, from the pylons at Reno,

And a couple of the big iron,

And yes I cheated here, mostly shot 1/320 at the pylons since they fly by so fast, generally I never shoot props over 1/200.

You were watching Red Bull Air Racing. This is NOT air racing. The only real air racing takes place in Reno, and it don't involve aerobatics!!

Beautiful shots Tim. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your biplane shots, as I know at least one competitor.

But I have to disagree with your comment about the only real racing takes place at Reno. The Red Bull series is racing, just different. Kind of like the SCCA racing and Nascar racing. Different styles but still racing. And both are aviation related so it's all good.

There are some biplane shots up, and there are a couple of Cris Ferguson's plane.
