First shots with digital rebel

I went around the house and took some flower shots with my new digital rebel. I must say, I'm really liking the camera already... and the macro on the lense is outstanding.

Anyway, here's a few of the shots.

I've used the Digital Rebel before over the fall when I had easy access to one. I may get my hands on one for the 30th to shoot some sheridan students at work.

These look very nice Cara! They look a lot more "natural" than your film posts, but I think that has more to do with your scanner than anything else. Welcome to the dark side.

Just beautiful. This rebel is looking to be quite snazzy. I love the last one, those colors are just beautiful!

I was really blown away at the quality you get. It definately is much better than the prints that go through my scanner.

Axle-- is that a Minolta SRT as your avatar? My mom still has her SRT 101 that she bought 30+ years ago, still in excellent shape. I just bought one of my own on ebay a few months ago

These are wonderful shots. I especially like the 2nd and 3rd. Colors are awesome.

I also have the Rebel XT and am so happy with the results. I enjoy viewing everyone else's photos done with this camera. ;)
