    A few shots from Wed. night

    Went out last night trying to find something to shoot and came up with these, Jeff

    Used my Nikon D7000 and Nikon 18-200VR lens.

    1st shot was take after 9:00 PM of Boomtown Casino in Biloxi, Ms.

    2nd and 3rd shots were taken after 10:00 PM of the train station in Ocean Springs, Ms.

    What changed between the last two? White balance?

    I normally do not stay up as late as I did last night and I had forgot to change the WB from the Casino shot. I corrected the first one but missed changing the second. These were shot in JPEG because I haven't gotten the pluggin to read the files for the new camera in Photoshop yet, Jeff

    While you wait for the plugin , maybe you can try viewnx2 (I think it is free) it will convert raw to tiff and pull them into PS for your usual workflow

    it should support the D7000, I know capture nx2 was updated for the D7000, this is the software I mainly use. Viewnx2 is a subset of this.

    Armando I got the plugin downloaded for CS5 so I can now read the D7000 NEF files just fine, Jeff

    very nice i like the set up went out last night and just for grins and giggles tried my first night shot as well and it turned out OK as well



    not much to look at but was just fooling around at 12 o'clock and was bored and was wondering how well it would do
