    Ever dream about PR ?

So, a few minutes ago I awoke from a dream and with a low blood sugar for which I had to get up to treat or I might have forgotten this.
I dreamed I had come here and saw seven posts by a new B. Each was titled precious moments 1, then 2, etc. up to 7
The OP had taken shots during a graveyard service for the oldest generation in his family and each shot showed someone from a different generation interacting with others.
The highlight was the oldest interacting with the youngest; the oldest being an elderly, bearded priest.
Someone had replied to the first post suggesting the lot be put into one post and the OP had tried but mislabeled it and responded to his own post with a cuss word because of the mis-labeling and hoping someone could edit it for him because New Bs couldn't edit their titles until they'd been here long enough.
The dream is weird, as all are, but it would make a good series of photos and I was imagining telling the guy to put it together in a slideshow or somehow making it available on a view-master type program.

Ok.....its weird, but not, and just wondering if anyone else dreams or has dreamed about this site?

Re: Ever dream about PR ?

I've never dreamed of this forum specifically. I have however had dreams that a certain friend put up this blog post that scared me...which in turn woke me up (at 2:30am) so I had to go check make sure that it wasn't true.

I've also had many dreams of abandoned buildings.

Frog, read that pill label again! It says 1 to 2 tablets as needed not 12 tablets. I know the print is small but you need to read the instructions on your prescriptions more carefully, Jeff

Re: Ever dream about PR ?

Now, this is VERY weird. A couple nights ago I also dreamt about PR. I don't precisely remember many details, other that part it had to do "something" with a Featured Photo in the future, likely an N&W forum one. In fact, when I woke up in the morning I had to check the current FP, not sure what/when/why, but whatever it had to do in my dream it was WEIRD, and worried about something having to do about/with the FP.

Also the Photo Critique forum was present (in the dream).

What's perhaps even more weird is that a major character had a screen-name which started with "B". No, I am not making this up, nor am I kidding, this is very true, as far as I remember. The FP-thing and "B-poster" are the two single dream details which I clearly remember.

Frog, I don't know how you manage to remember so much from a dream, I usually wake up as something "big" is about to happen, but remain semi-awake, not conscious enough to get up and write down stuff. :mad2: Only until several hours later at my regular rising time do I remember that I dreamt something, and vaguely of what, but very few precise details remain.

This thread has somehow stirred my memory. Glad you posted.

This sounds vaguely familiar as well. :skep:

Alex, if I hadn't had to get up right away, I probably wouldn't have remembered much detail either.

For many many years my Dad slept with a pen and index cards on the nightstand precisely to be able to write notes in that semi-conscious state. They were always in exactly the same place, so he didn't have to scrounge around for them. It made for some really interesting discussions when we got a little older.

Haven't had any PR dreams I can recall, but I've had two single dreams in my life that were so unnerving I can recall all the details with perfect clarity even now, some 20-25 years later. One involved a British sports car I owned at the time and the other, a return trip to my home town where everything was scrambled in a most unusual way.

Another really bizarre dream was one my old business partner had where his dead brother visited him in the middle of a dream about something else and explained to him how all of our dreams were interconnected. The brother then explained that he'd like to stay longer, but was scheduled to appear in his widow's dream and was just taking a shortcut through Tom's dream to get to her's on time. Sure enough, when Tom spoke to his dead brother's widow the following day, she had dreamed about the brother, and remembered it without prompting. Weird stuff!

I don't remember any PR dreams, but I have had photography related dreams in the past. I think I even started a thread about it once.

Seems like the dream was a message to yourself to make that series of shots. Hope to see the results someday.
I often dream about flying myself. Maybe thats why I photograph birds.
