    Dramatic nude

Okay, so I'm obeying the rules of Nat's thread and taking this one elsewhere:

Here's my butt shot. I feel it carries a fairly heavy mood. What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Rick

Reminds me of a shot I saw in a book in high school photography class, of a guy laying face down in water with about the same amount of exposure and the same position, with the sun highlighting the water and the droplets on his skin. The picture made my 17-year-old body shiver.

I'm still looking for that image.

Nice tushy. You do men proud. But I think you can make a better photograph than this one. I realize it's hard to do self portraits and you better believe I'm not going to do this!!

I hope it's out of your system now though. Did you send it to Playgirl?

    Okay! I get it!

    "Nice butt, bad picture!" LOL

    I'll try again...

... butt I'll just keep it on my harddrive next time.

Paul, I am truly flattered and if you're ever in the DC area and need a cheap date, call me

Penny: I was definitely going for drama here butt if it looks like I'm passed out cold after a party then that works too And yes, Mom contends I still have a cute tooshie

Villena: wasn't erotica I was going for, just "dramatic." Though it sounds like it wasn't conveyed. Oh well, back to the futon... er, drawing board

Kelly: sounds like a great shot, if you ever find it you must scan it for us!

Trevor: thanks, I guess! It's slated for a short run in Cosmo, Playgirl said it was too tame.

    Adina: thanks!

Oh, now everyone start posting pictures of their own butt so mine doesn't cold all by itself up here

Thanks fer, um, looking at my butt!

Woo, that's just too racy for me!

Besides, I'm not sure that my butt is up to such a high standard.

Interesting shot to be sure. A little too dark maybe, but I think I get the idea of what you were after. I must admit though, that it also struck me that you looked like you were passed out. Next time turn the head away from the camera, or toward it for that matter (and give us a big smile).

maybe more of a tighter crop and maybe less of a--- um--- graphic--- um--- large scape and by the way...nice matching sheets

anyway...I appreciated your posts....I printed it out and put it on our fridge....just kidding Hope we can still look you in the eye when you come to visit ;)

You have a nice butt for a guy!

I really liked the mood of this photo. I find it a bit androgynous, and I really like that. I have always liked to see the nude form that blurred the lines between the sexs. Nice job. The feeling however seems a bit dark to me. Almost sinister, and I am sure that wasn't the point. At anyrate I like it.

I would like to see some nudes like this posted in the "Fine Art" or B&W galleries. I really think more pople should explore this kind of photography. And to make it a self portarait is even better.

    Nice gams!

All kidding aside, it really is an atmospheric shot. Sensual. Go Rick!
