    Attention Yosemite Gatherers!

    Hello All,

I was just in Yosemite last weekend and it was beautiful. Here are a few pictures to help get you guys pumped up for this coming weekend. I really wish I could go again to meet you all, but I already had these reservations...

Here's a brief description of each pic:

#1: The picture everyone's seen: El Capitan and Brideveil falls from the Merced River lookout.
#2: We weren't the only one's at the lookout!
#3: The creek downstream of Brideveil falls
#4: A waterfall on the John Muir Trail

All photos are taken w/ Canon Elan 7E, fuji superia 100, and either the canon 28-135mm IS, Tokina 20-35mm, or the canon 100mm macro lens.

    Have fun you guys!

    David

    You aren't helping things any!!

    Mornin' David,

You really aren't helping my week pass by any faster.. I've been looking forward to this trip for close to two months and now it's just 4 days away.. I'm itching to leave now!!!

It's good to see that the falls are flowing and that the weather looks good. Too bad there's already tons of people up there.

Any animal sitings while you were in the park?

Your shots turned out nice. I especially like the one of El Cap and BV falls. Thanks for wetting our collective whistles!

    Nice Photos!

I like the picture of all the photographers, all set up in the same spot, taking the same pictures! That's funny

Nice shots! Especially the first one of El Capitan. I'm with Brian on this one...you're not making things easier for us, lol.

Well, I've got my digital prints for the exchange in development right now, and should have them by tomorrow. The Jeep is all tuned up, and I'm anxious to take off. Is it Friday yet?

    Any skeeters?

    Hey David,

I don't when the mosquitos hatch but I know in mid June they are frantic. Any there last weekend?

    Hi All,

Yes, there were LOTS of mosquitoes. Especially over by mirror lake. Bring lots of repellant, or you'll be sorry. As a matter of fact, the only thing more annoying than the hordes of photographers (including 3 in my group) were the mosquitoes.
