This is amazing, not only do I actually have 2 rolls developed (and I just got back Tuesday evening) but I've got a couple images scanned and ready to upload! WOW!
Today at the lab, one of the customer service persons that I'm pretty familiar with asked me why, "with all your talent, "(his words), I insist on shooting with the Holga, and not with a really NICE 2.25. I told him I HAVE really nice cameras, I just LIKE the Holga!
Photographer's moment in Tucson: We were walking around the Catholic church doing a self-led foot tour, and the chimes kept rining and ringing. As I was photographing the front (with my Holga, yes), a man stopped and talked to us, his brother had been the Father in that church for 30 years. Then he told us they had just announced that the pope had been elected. So we go around, and are heading down the other side of the church, and I see a guy sprinting from the parking garage with a camera and a wonga lens heading towards the church. I thought to myself - "a-HA! He's going to get his shot for the paper..." An hour later, when we were walking back to our car past the church, the news crews were already out and broadcasting from the church.
Okay - images. These are the best from the 2 sheets, not necessarily my best ever. Thanks for looking!
Megan
