Here are a few of mine. I feel an image has to have that certain something, either in the expression or the action, for me to call it cute

Thankyou, Jeff. Don't know which one you mean as mine display vertically but I will say I took over 60 photos of her in about a half hour and she never had the same look on her face for any of them.

I love this thread!! But then again, my kids are my favourite subject.

I think I'll be adding to this thread just as soon as I can figure out how to make my pics small enough.

My two youngest, Evelyn and Gina. Taken with my smaller camera (Canon Powershot SD1100 IS) and clearly NOT edited. We were just hiking around at a state park this past October, these are some of my favorite shots of them.

Here's a cute kid...although not mine. We were at my son's baseball tournament and she's the younger sister of one of the boys on the team. I didn't notice what was in the background. I'll pay more attention from now on.

Mimi111: thanks! I like the picture you posted of the little girl in the yellow shirt... she's deep in thought with her little Twizzler there. Cute capture of the moment, even with the chain link going on behind it IMO

Very nice shot Mimi! The background does not distract at all in this case.

Very nice Camille and Mimi. I agree with jetrim I would not have noticed the background on this shot if you hadn't pointed it out.

    E.T. Phone Home

We were taking pics of our 2 grandkids in their baseball outfits the other day, when their little sister decided she wanted in on the act and put on the catchers gear. She's 4. Automatically I thought of E.T. hehe What do you think??

Mimi...the bokeh is just nice enough that it isn't distracting to the shot, and since you were at a baseball game...it's to be expected to have chain link in the background. Be proud of a beautiful shot!

This is Sean, my son's friend, we went to his first birthday party yesterday.. it was a blast. A bunch of little kids and water.. WHOO.. (btw, I should have worn MY bathing suit considering I was in the danger zone and got sprayed many times lol)

The girl is Sean's older sister and the bigger boy is Jack, my other friend's son.
