The second shot to me, gives no impression of depth from top to bottom or from side to side, it is like a 100% crop of another picture to see grain/clarity of the original image (make sense). I like the third shot that is very good, would like to see it in colour though as well. It does need some work on it, like bringing out the shadows a little and sharpening as well, as it appears soft, or is that your intention.
