When it was first launched, they were offering a special VIP warranty which gave 12 months extended warranty cover, not just on a single item, but on everything purchased within a 12-month period, for just $7.95.

It's not running at present, but I'm told it will probably be re-launched in time for the holidays. However, when it was running, customers needed to be a VIP member already in order to benefit, & the warranty could not be purchased after purchasing an item for which cover was required. It had to be purchased before or on exact the same order.
