Owwwww
Give her a hug from us !

And without anaesthetic !
Well done Becky, any bravery to spare?
No, you're right, I'm not brave - a total wussycat.
As a teenager I needed tranquilisers before I could go to the dentist.
Now I need a change of clothes and a shower afterwards because of the nervous sweat.

Abscess is nasty, and after my failed (twice) root canal and extraction I had an infection that needed double painkiller and two different types of antibiotic. Yet before the treatment I had no pain whatsoever. I didn't go back to the dentist for years after that !
Yes, total wuss. Angie says typical man - you don't do pain.

Sounds like she's well on the road to recovery, but if it's tissue and can't be drained or flushed then it may take longer on antibiotics.

I thought it was mumps perhaps, she's so swollen.
But I guess Becky's young enough had MMR shots? Angie's mumps in her late twenties caused such excitement at the doctor that all the medical students had to come in and see it so that they would recognise it in future

I just got back from the dentist this morning - assessment for getting on the NHS list.
Angie had a filling this morning - saying to the Dentist "I told you there was something wrong last month" didn't change their opinion that it was OK ... but isn't now.

Hope this is all cleared up soon, and we get some more smiling photos !
