    Cabbages and light

Leftover cabbage from the same soup saved half a head and one leaf from last night to set this up...very excited to say that the only PS work was in cropping and cloning water spots on the table(brown),,,the first is with a tripod (I finally see the difference) and the other two without a tripod (I was still being a lazy slug!) I really like this series

Extensive lighting set up achieved with window light and trusty flashlight

1/5 sec exposure don't remember much else

these are dedicated to Adina (for her inspiration)
    PHOTOHOUSEWIVES OF AMERICA UNITE...ahem...anyway...enjoy

    Complementary colors

I liked the yellowish light on the top leaf and thought that your other shots with the more purple color of the cabbage would be nicely set off by a more yellow color in the leaf. I don't know if your lighting set up can achieve this. Here's a quick and dirty example. The color wheel is your friend and complimentary colors are called that for a reason.
