Is all of that on the ceiling and walls paneling or actual tongue and groove wood? If it is wood be careful if you decide to take it out. You can probably sell it for almost enough to pay for whatever you replace it with.

I'll try to keep getting the dust off of it...I have to excercise the 'ole eyeballs again---I can only see presold camera angles... studio lighting/set ups is all I can really see well---it'll all come back to me....soon I hope

you just got my hubby all kinds of happy---money back he said ha ha ha...we may go down the scary and easy route of keeping it and painting it( I can see people cringing already...) we really like some it so until we are ready to do a whole rooom overhaul we will leave the one s that are tongue and groove natural and paint the other scary ones over...

didn't realize it was worth it --although it is quite pretty

My wife didn't like the photo whatsoever, so I didn't put one up.
I did do one this year, and she really likes it.
I also did a more "artsy" portrait with my Holga.

Hey Nat,

I've seen painted panelling that looks gorgeous. If the panelling was installed well, you can justt prime that crap and paint over it.

if it is the tounge and groove, I'd keep that as well. Unfortunately, we had crappy paneling with a crappy install.

I love the architecture of your house how beautiful.... ya! that's the same ugly crap in our living room---except it's actual pine -so the hubby has deemed it unpaintable....
