Welcome back to life. Been there in that overworked under appreciated way too much time away from home job before. Good luck getting the new job!

Is all of that on the ceiling and walls paneling or actual tongue and groove wood? If it is wood be careful if you decide to take it out. You can probably sell it for almost enough to pay for whatever you replace it with.

Welcome back, Natabeach. I know how you feel. I'm in a post-college job hunt myself, and I haven't been able to find any jobs that would allow me to do my photography on the side.

hi Liz!!! I really love our setting...it's very country which is so the polar opposite of me---I think it's what I needed... sometimes you get what you need as opposed to what you hope for

    Will post soon....smooches to you

you just got my hubby all kinds of happy---money back he said ha ha ha...we may go down the scary and easy route of keeping it and painting it( I can see people cringing already...) we really like some it so until we are ready to do a whole rooom overhaul we will leave the one s that are tongue and groove natural and paint the other scary ones over...

didn't realize it was worth it --although it is quite pretty

I'm way past the post college hunt ---but I suppose any career over a basic job is always very difficult to transition with...what was your program of studies?

I booked a wedding for the fall and will continue to do that for weekends that I am off...thanks for lreading and responding...

You know Nat, I am flattered that you remember that! So is my wife.
You may or may not know this, but there wasn't one last year.
My wife didn't like the photo whatsoever, so I didn't put one up.
I did do one this year, and she really likes it.
I also did a more "artsy" portrait with my Holga.
    Watch for them soon!
    Thanks Nat!

    Hey Nat,

I've seen painted panelling that looks gorgeous. If the panelling was installed well, you can justt prime that crap and paint over it.

if it is the tounge and groove, I'd keep that as well. Unfortunately, we had crappy paneling with a crappy install.

Off to see if I can find a photos
    I sleep, but I don't rest.
