Huge auroral event - if you can see the sky, get away from street lights and look up.
Looks like it's as far south as France, a fantastic show if we weren't totally clouded over

PJ, it was visible in North America as well. I looked for it last night here in NC, but couldn't see it. The northern tier states are getting spectacular views though.

No sightings of Perseids for me either
