    Aurora - 8/3 pm 8/4 am - look UP !
    Huge auroral event - if you can see the sky, get away from street lights and look up.
    Looks like it's as far south as France, a fantastic show if we weren't totally clouded over :(

    Will it be visible in North America too or is it only in Europe? Shouldn't matter, right?

    PJ, it was visible in North America as well. I looked for it last night here in NC, but couldn't see it. The northern tier states are getting spectacular views though.

    No views here, too cloudy.
    No sightings of Perseids for me either :(
